Imagine a race across the entire state of Missouri, just you and your boat thrown against 340 miles of wind, heat, bugs and rain. This ain’t no mama’s boy float trip...

Take a break from the chilly winter and relive the 2009 fourth annual Missouri River 340, the world's longest continuous river race.  Filmed with one camera, this film documents the race as seen through the eyes of the racers as they challenge the river and themselves paddling from Kansas City to St. Charles.

The film will be followed by a forum with race organizers, the film producer and veteran racers. If you are thinking about throwing your paddle in the river for 2010, this is a great chance to get a peek at the course and ask questions from the pros.

Filmmaker Jodi Pfefferkorn, of Flaming Fiddle Productions, hit the river once again this year to capture a more in-depth look at what it takes these racers, and the families and friends that support them on the ground, to complete this amazing feat.

In the process, you see some of the most beautiful spots in Missouri from a river-level view.
