Cleaning up the Confluence with Whole Foods
In July, the Missouri River Relief crew was invited to set up booths at both Whole Foods Market stores in St. Louis. As one of their Community Support Days, they donated 5% of their proceeds from the day to MRR - it totalled an amazing $7,700!! So on Friday, August 21, we'll be cleaning up the Missouri River near Columbia Bottom Conservation Area with a group of diehard Whole Foods employees and some of our St. Louis friends.
The evening before, we'll be cleaning up Duck Island on the Mississippi by canoe with our friends at Big Muddy Adventures and River Kids.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, we hit the Meramec River as part of the 42nd annual Operation Clean Stream!
