Big Muddy Races Rescheduled

This has been an unprecedented year for paddling races on the Lower Missouri River with events from Yankton, SD all the way to the Confluence with the Mississippi. Unfortunately, several of these have been rescheduled due to high water.

Here's what's left this year:

August 24 - 27 - Missouri River 340 - Kansas City, KS to St. Charles, MO - 340 miles in the world's longest nonstop river race. This is the crown jewel. Rescheduled due to high water - so there's a bunch of new open slots. Hosted by Rivermiles and benefits Missouri River Relief. MRR helps with safety boats for this one.

September 4 & 5 - Race for the Rivers & Clean Water Challenge - Washington, MO to Columbia Bottom CA - A fundraiser for the Greenway Network. Sign up for the 20 mile Challenge or the 65 mile Race. This two-day race also has a river festival on Saturday on St. Charles' Riverfront.

October 9 - Canoe for Clean Water & River Fest - Glasgow to Katfish Katy's - Pick between a 15 or 50 mile course, both ending at a River Festival at Katfish Katy's in Huntsdale, MO. A fundraiser for Missouri River Communities Network. Plenty of open slots! Sign up and pledge to support MRCN!
