2011 Schedule
2011 is the 10th Anniversary of Missouri River Relief - and we've got a gangbuster year planned!
See you on the river!
We've got three major projects going on this year.
1. Aerial MegaScout - We teamed up with EcoFlight to fly the Lower Missouri River, mapping major trash deposited by recent flooding and adding it to our MegaScout GIS database. Click for more info»
2. Upriver Rolling Clean-ups - Our partners in Yankton, Sioux City and Omaha are working with us on a series of clean-ups below the Gavin's Point Dam.
3. Big Muddy Clean Sweep - Our signature project of the year. We'll be chartering the Living Lands and Waters trash barge for a few months, doing a clean sweep of trash from Kansas City to the Confluence in St. Louis. We'll be stopping in communities along the way for clean-ups, education and good ol' riverside gatherings.

Here's the lineup so far:
A clean-up barge trip from Kansas City to the Confluence in St. Louis.
There will be projects in communities and public lands across the state, but these are the three main clean-up events during the Big Muddy Clean Sweep:
- Sept. 10 - Kansas City Clean-up
- Oct. 1 - Jefferson City Capital Clean-up
- Oct. 29 - Confluence Clean-up (St. Louis, MO)
