10th Annual Race to the Dome

 Saturday, Nov. 2. 2019

Two race courses - you choose:  Hartsburg to Jefferson City (15.8 miles) or Providence to Jefferson City (27.6 miles).  Both courses end at beautiful "Wilson's Serenity Point" at Noren Access on the Missouri River.

You have until Thursday October 31 at midnight to register, sign up early to help us with planning. The sooner you get your registration done, the better your chance of getting your size of t-shirt.  To register, just click here.

Despite our optimism for an October race, the 10th Annual Race to the Dome has been rescheduled due to continued flood conditions on the river. For racers registered for original race that would like to reschedule, get a refund or donate their registration, please visit our postponement email here.  We hope you can join us on November 2!

A great race for young and old, experienced or beginner!

Thanks to a generous donation from Missouri American Water, all of racer registrations support the organization's efforts to connect people to the Missouri River through direct action and education. 

Two race courses will again be offered this year for either the novice paddler or competetive paddlers training for next year's 340 race. The longest course is from Providence to Jefferson City (27.6 miles). The shorter is from Hartsburg to Jefferson City (15.8 miles).

The canoe and kayak event will begin at 10 a.m. at the Perche Creek Access in Providence and the Hartsburg Access. The race route will end at "Wilson's Serenity Point" at the Noren Access in Jefferson City and could take between one and four hours, depending on the amount of experience each paddler has.

All proceeds from the race benefit Missouri River Relief to support our ongoing education and outreach efforts to connect people to the Missouri River.
